Partnerships

Collaborations, causes, charities

No hospitality business is an island. Our portfolio of properties is also a proud network of hands-on humans and change-makers. We connect with local organisations close to our addresses in Europe and the United States and beyond to support partners in tackling local and global challenges. We’re excited to celebrate some of the heroes playing a valuable role throughout our value chain thanks to these impact-led partnerships and charity collaborations.

Which charities do we work with and why?

We have joined forces with many solutions-focused organisations so that when guests stay in our hotels, they can sleep easier knowing that they’re helping us help these initiatives with important social and environmental work, from water scarcity to food insecurity. And we’re talking about it here so that you can find out more and help raise awareness about their impact, and why it’s needed, too.

All of our hotels have a big heart for their local communities, and our teams think deeply about what might be needed in our neighbourhoods as well as further-flung corners of the globe. We don’t just donate money as a token gesture or tick boxes to virtue signal – we believe in cultivating meaningful long-term relationships with charities and causes.

Group-wide Partnerships

Made Blue Foundation

Providing water where it’s most needed, from Asia and Africa to the Americas.

This entrepreneurial-minded water charity is on a mission to provide everyone with access to clean drinking water. Water stress and scarcity is a threat that’s long been listed with rising temperatures as a Global Risk by the World Economic Forum — few understand this better than this non-profit founded in the Netherlands in 2014.

Lore Group’s partnership funds 100 litres of clean, fresh water for every room night sold. Guests across each one of the brand’s six hotels are given this ‘gift’ to pay forward — an amount funded, in its entirety, by Lore. Every guest has the power to decide where, and whom, the total amount made possible by their stay will support: each occupied night provides one full day of clean water for a household in Bangalore to Mexico City, as delivered by Made Blue Foundation.

On 22 March, World Water Day, Lore Group reached a milestone of delivering 100 million litres of clean drinking water to communities that need it throughout our partnership with Made Blue Foundation.

EARNT — doing good in exchange for great experiences

We love partnering with this next-gen, purpose-driven platform that rewards volunteering with exclusive experiences and limited-edition gifts, as part of building our own VIP changemakers database.

Our hotels support many local charities, but by picking one in need of hands-on help, we invite guests and community members to get involved.

From one-off events to ongoing collaborations, it turns conscious action into meaningful connection. We’ve now completed seven initiatives with EARNT, including our most recent Nature in the City event, ‘Learn to EARN’, hosted by Sea Containers London.

Activations include: working with Trans Pride in DC, preparing and packing meals with the Felix Project, giving an East London community centre a glow-up with One Hundred Shoreditch’s team, and working with De Regenboog Groep, Pulitzer and Kimpton De Witt to support those experiencing homelessness. As thanks for their gardening through to painting, volunteers are rewarded with overnights to cocktails.
